The underground system is more convenient than the bus service as it’s easier to board and get around from place to place with it, but the problem with the bus is that it can be expensive and not always reliable unless it’s an express bus.

The best way to travel around Venice is on the train. It’s very easy to navigate, the maps are detailed and you don’t have to worry about finding the right stop. If you’re not sure which stop taking it’s always worth asking a tourist for help as they will know where everything is. Venice is well worth a day or two spent taking in the sights, sounds and smells of this elegant city while on vacation.
